Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Bare Face Beauty. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review our transparent return guidelines below.

1. Return Window

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, unopened with original seals intact, and in its original retail packaging.

2. Hygiene & Safety Exceptions

Due to hygiene, health, and safety regulations, the following items cannot be returned or refunded once opened, used, or if the protective security seals have been broken:

  • Cosmetics, makeup palettes, and lipsticks

  • Opened or tested perfumes and fragrances

  • Time-sensitive skincare items (such as Vitamin C serums)

3. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please visit our online returns portal directly at:

Follow the on-screen prompts to select the items you wish to return.

If our online portal is down for any reason, please email us at sales@barefacebeauty.shop with photos of the items before sending your parcel.

4. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your parcel immediately upon delivery. Contact us straight away if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

To resolve this quickly, you can choose one of the following options:

  • Via Our Portal: Visit barefacebeauty.shop, select your order, choose "Damaged/Defective" as your return reason, and upload clear photos of the issue. There is no charge for the Evri return label when choosing this option.

  • Via Email: Email sales@barefacebeauty.shop with your order number and attach clear photographic evidence of the product fault or transit damage.

How we process these issues:

  • Our team will review your submitted photos to evaluate the damage. Depending on the product type and the photos provided, a physical return may not always be required.

  • If our compliance team determines that a physical return is necessary, we will issue a prepaid Royal Mail returns label link at no cost to you.

  • Once the issue is verified via your uploaded photos or the returned item, we will process a full refund or send a free replacement.

5. Change of Mind / Buyer's Remorse Returns

If you change your mind within the 14-day statutory cooling-off period or wish to return an item within our 30-day window:

  • You are responsible for purchasing your own return shipping label and paying the return postage costs.

  • You may use our returns portal to generate an Evri drop-off label, or mail the item independently using a tracked carrier of your choice.

  • Original shipping charges paid at checkout are non-refundable.

7. Refund Processing Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email to notify you whether your refund has been approved or rejected based on its condition. If approved, your refund will be automatically processed back to your original payment method within 7 working days. Please note it can take some additional time for your bank or credit card company to officially post the refund to your account.

8. International Returns & Customs Duties

For parcels returned to the United Kingdom from international destinations, Bare Face Beauty does not reimburse international customs duties, local border clearance fees, or foreign VAT. Any import charges paid to local border authorities upon initial delivery must be claimed back directly by the customer from their domestic customs border office.
