We’re proud to introduce one of Bare Face Beauty’s own skincare formulas: Skin: Be Clear – Soothing Salicylic Serum 30ml, created especially for oily, blemish-prone and acne-prone skin.
With its signature green band and the simple affirmation “Be Clear”, the serum is presented in a 30ml glass pump bottle with a glossy retail box.
The idea behind Skin: Be Clear is simple: a kinder, less drying approach to using Salicylic Acid on oily and blemish-prone skin.

What is Skin: Be Clear?
Skin: Be Clear is a cooling opaque gel serum formulated for oily, congested and blemish-prone skin.
At the heart of the formula is Salicylic Acid (BHA), used to gently exfoliate and help clear clogged pores.
Alongside it, Aloe Vera and Sea Buckthorn Oil have been included to help soothe and nourish the skin, while Tea Tree, Lavender, Lemon and Cedarwood essential oils provide additional cleansing and antiseptic properties.
The formula also contains Hyaluronic Acid, helping to support hydration so the skin does not feel unnecessarily stripped or uncomfortable.
The essential ingredients
Salicylic Acid
A BHA exfoliant used to help unclog pores, remove surface build-up and reduce excess sebum.
Aloe Vera Leaf Juice
Included to soothe blemish-prone skin and support the skin while it recovers.
Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil
A nourishing oil selected to help calm the appearance of redness while supporting softer, healthier-looking skin. Sea Buckthorn is also naturally rich in antioxidants.
Tea Tree Leaf Oil
Known for its antibacterial properties and widely used in skincare created for oily and blemish-prone complexions.
Cedarwood Essential Oil
Included for its cleansing properties and to complement the blemish-focused formula.
Lavender & Lemon Essential Oils
Included for their additional antiseptic and soothing properties.
Hyaluronic Acid
Hydration still matters when skin is oily. Hyaluronic Acid helps provide moisture without adding a heavy or greasy feel.
The texture
One of the things we love most about Skin: Be Clear is the texture.
Rather than feeling like a harsh blemish treatment, it has a cooling, soothing opaque gel consistency that glides easily over the skin. It has a fresh Tea Tree fragrance and is especially suited to an evening skincare routine.
How to use
Skin: Be Clear can be used in the evening or as needed.
- Cleanse and tone the skin.
- Apply a thin layer of Skin: Be Clear over the face.
- Allow the serum to absorb before going to bed.
A separate moisturiser may not always be necessary. If you have naturally drier areas, you can follow with a light layer of oil-free moisturiser where needed.
Important: Avoid the eye area. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Problem skin can be tempting to attack with increasingly strong and drying products. Skin: Be Clear was developed around a different idea: help clear and exfoliate the pores while also soothing, hydrating and supporting the skin.
